Rubicon Dog Car Seats are designed and manufactured to endure some of the most exciting adventures with your best friend. We never want the adventures to end, so if something is not quite right, we will fix it.

Rubicon Dog offers a Lifetime Limited Warranty on the base, back and doors of its Rubicon Dog Car Seat. Express Warranties are your sole and exclusive warranties and remedies. There are no warranties and remedies that extend beyond the description contained below.

The Express Warranties are valid for the original online or retail purchaser having proof of purchase and are not transferable. The Express Warranties only apply if purchased directly from Rubicon Dog (roadshows or dealers), or on our website RubiconDog.com.

All warranted Rubicon Dog products must be registered through our website.

Lifetime Limited Warranty Limitation

This warranty applies only to the original owner having proof of purchase and is not transferrable. The following will void this warranty is void:

  • If the product is used commercially;
  • Unauthorized repairs;
  • Failing to follow recommended care and use instructions; or
  • If the product is structurally altered, modified or is damaged as a result of abuse, abnormal use, or misuse.

Normal wear and tear gives your Rubicon Dog product character and is not warranted. Normal wear and tear includes chips, scratches, abrasions, damage to components(latches), discolorations or fading due to usage or exposure to sunlight or washing.

Submitting a Warranty Claim

Submit a warranty claim by initiating a Service Request. All warranty returns must be processed through our online form and have a Return Authorization Number (RMA#). Pictures and proof of purchase are a requirement in order to receive a credit or refund. Defective products must be returned directly to Rubicon Dog as follows:

  • Returned in its original packaging or adequate cardboard packaging;
  • The original receipt and/or return authorization number placed inside;
  • Shipped to the provided address;
  • You are solely responsible for shipping your items; and
  • Original and return shipping costs are non-refundable unless we made a mistake with your order. Replacement items may require additional shipping costs.

Warranty Disclaimer

If one of the Express Warranties applies, Rubicon Dog will repair or replace, at its discretion, the cooler or any part or component that Rubicon Dog, in its sole discretion, deems defective.

Rubicon Dog reserves the right to change products and designs without incurring any obligations to incorporate such changes into already completed products, or those in the hands of dealers or consumers. Products repaired or replaced under this warranty may or may not incorporate these changes.

RUBICON DOG’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY LOSSES OR DAMAGES, INCURRED OR LIKELY TO INCUR, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, WARRANTY, NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE, AS A RESULT OF THE OWNERSHIP, POSSESSION, OR USE OF ANY RUBICON DOG PRODUCT SHALL NOT EXCEED THE ONLINE RETAIL PURCHASE PRICE OF THE RUBICONDOG PRODUCT. RUBICONDOG SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND. IN NO EVENT SHALL ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY EXTEND BEYOND THE EXPRESS WARRANTIES PROVIDED HEREIN.
